I can’t add much to the other bad reviews because we never made it past the idiot working the front desk to check in. We tried to book our spa appointments several times in the week before our stay but were told each time that the staff was too busy to help and would call back. Of course they never did. When we tried to check on the status ...
This is not the place to stay...it is a shame too because it has the perfect location. It is settled in the mountains of Jackson, New Hampshire and has a beautiful view of Mount Washington. It is only minutes from the Tax Free Shopping, Waterfall Hikes and local activities. However, that is all that it has going for it. While it looks like it once ...
I read the reviews, but my friends stayed there and said it was wonderful, so we went to try it for ourselves. We could not have been happier. I am convinced, people only take the time to write complaints, not the good stuff. We went for a romantic weekend and stayed in a carriage house suite. 2 rooms, king bed, two person jacuzzi, sitting room ...
So, here we go. I find the bad reviews very easy to believe. Let me say this: my impression was so bad over the phone I cancelled my stay. We initially made reservations for Sept. in July. The guy we spoke with (Dave) was nice, knowledgable and helpful. Breakfast was included. We mentioned we were looking forward to the restaurant. We were excited ...
If you looking for a nice getaway in the beautiful town of Jackson DO NOT put Christmas Farm Inn on your list. I have stayed here in previous years and enjoyed myself the staff the food the overall feeling of the Inn was magical. But on our last visit to the Inn there had been many changes. None of the same friendly staff was there, we were told it ...
Many of the other people who have wrote about the Christmas Farm have compared it to chain restaurants or hotels. At least with the a chain place you know what you are getting. With the Christmas Farm it looks like a beautiful resort online. What you can't see is the dump that it really is...I have never been so disappointed.
I wish I head checked the reviews on yahoo before we stayed here because if I had I would never have booked at the Christmas Farm! From now on I will always check the reviews on places before I book them because the experience I just had at the Christmas Farm Inn was the worst I have ever had....anywhere.
First let's start off with the good stuff. We rented one of the rooms above the barn. It is an adequate room with a queen and two twin beds upstairs and a living room downstairs. This definitely gave us a place to stay on our trip to the White Mountains, North Conway, and other areas.
Unfortunately that is all that is good. We tried to eat ...
We stayed here in August as a last minute getaway. We came up for their elves special at a super discounted rate....even with the discount it wasn't worth the money. The place is falling apart. The beds were hard, the pool was green, and all the buildings need to be painted.
Since we had the super discounted special it didn't include ...
My family recently attended a wedding at the Christmas Farm. Most of our family and friends all live in CA so we were all flying in for this destination wedding. We all spent a huge amount of money on plane tickets, cars, and of course the wedding costs so that we could have our wedding at the Christmas Farm Inn. But, since our family had booked ...
