My husband took me here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a great experience for us. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and most accommodating. The Skies was a great place to have dinner on a Saturday night, with the awesome view of the Kansas City skyline. I would definitely return to this hotel again!!!

We enjoyed our visit to the Hyatt. We went with our Girl Scout Troop and they were in awe of the experience. We stayed one night and had adjoining rooms. We only stayed one night in the Hyatt, but it was a positive experience. It is located next to a lot of KC attractions, including a mall, Hallmark, Union Station, and war memorial. There are also a lot of dining options. The only drawback we experienced was parking, which cost us $13.

Back in the 80's this was one of the premier hotels. Unfortunately time has passed by and the hotel is trying to catch up. They are slowly remodeling the rooms and bringing them up to the level they should be for this hotel.
