The Hyatt is located in a great location near many attractions. Although everyone was very friendly, service was lax. The shampoo was not replenished during our three-night stay, we had to ask that a coffee-maker be brought to our room, there is no magnifying mirror so make-up was a challenge for me. However, given all that, the experience in ...

Great Hotel!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/05
My husband took me here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a great experience for us. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and most accommodating. The Skies was a great place to have dinner on a Saturday night, with the awesome view of the Kansas City skyline. I would definitely return to this hotel again!!!

We enjoyed our visit to the Hyatt. We went with our Girl Scout Troop and they were in awe of the experience. We stayed one night and had adjoining rooms. The rooms were large (a roll-a-way bed fit easily), bathrooms clean and nicely decorated. The mattresses were incredible. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool could use a new coat ...

Great Place

We only stayed one night in the Hyatt, but it was a positive experience. It is located next to a lot of KC attractions, including a mall, Hallmark, Union Station, and war memorial. There are also a lot of dining options. The only drawback we experienced was parking, which cost us $13.

Good but in transition

Back in the 80's this was one of the premier hotels. Unfortunately time has passed by and the hotel is trying to catch up. They are slowly remodeling the rooms and bringing them up to the level they should be for this hotel.
The service is good, the food is good. but they are just a little behind the times. Would I stay there again ...

The Chiefs Hotel

Very detailed experience, we flew high on a cloud all the way to the front desk. Very open service with a right away breakfast buffet and freshly squeezed orange juice. Using are very functional door card...with very safe locking system in our smoking room. Bath rooms are luxury to the fullest, shower temperature remains the same while you pass ...

Somewhat disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/25/04
The hotel was just okay. I expected more for the rate I paid. I was there with my kids the Saturday 1 week before Christmas. I took them to Skies lounge for dessert at 11:45 pm to enjoy the KC skyline. Unfortunately, the lounge/retaurant stopped serving desserts before we got there (on a Saturday night before midnight!), and the best they could do ...
