    I am 42 yo and we used to stay at this hotel when I was a TODDLER and altho it's been remodeled this is still MY MOST FAVORITE HOTEL ON THE PLANET! God I wish I had pics of the old black spiral staircase! And the old pool w/kiddie pool attached! TG Hurricane Camile of '69 didn't blow it away!! DOV: 1968-1973

    The rooms were very clean, comfortable & with all amenities, made a great place to stay. Although the room rate was more than we normally pay for Cruisin' the Coast($286 for 2 nites)having the breakfast room was real plus. The lady-in-charge of serving everyone is an asset! Great personality & service. We normally stay further west, ...
