My family is a repeat visitor to the hotel and waterpark. During our last visit in July, we were told the room had a view, it did, the garbage dumpster area, nothing else. The room was dirty, the bathroom shower curtain had black mold on it (when housekeeping came to replace it, they agreed it was definatly mold). To top it all off, the front desk didn't care. We won't be going back!!

Unless you want to spend a lot of money going to some fancy place like Fitger's hotel, where they even have a menu of pillows and wait on you hand and foot, this is the best place to go. It's also right on the water if you get a lakeside room, which should be requested. You will not be disappointed, as I wasn't.

While I would like to thank those that made the effort to book a block of rooms for the Fluvial Geomorphology course, I would be remiss if I did not advise that the DNR never book another room at the Edgewater Express again.

7/27/07 There is a new renovated bldg & an old unrenovated bldg at this resort. I made reservations 2 mo. ahead and ended up in the old bldg. I asked for attached rooms which they said they could not guarantee, but were pretty sure. I didn't get them, we had rooms next to ea. other. I found a used washcloth in shower, faucet in shower ...

It was all great. the thing i liked the most was the water park there was so much to do. it's hard to choose what i didn't like.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here. Even though we stayed in the older part of the hotel, our room was clean and comfortable. My husband doesn't swim so we didn't use the waterpark, but will be going back again and taking some of the grandkids. We can see that they will have a blast! Our service was good, and we thought the breakfast was very good as well.

Our family of 4 (2-children ages 2 & 13)reserved our room about a month in advance.
