The room was spacious, the staff was friendly and I loved the cookie. It was also nice to walk out and be right there on the river. I stayed at this hotel just for one night. The rooms are large and comfortable but I had MOLD in my bathroom and the walls and doors are very thin. We called front desk several times to complain about the children that were running up and down the hallway until midnight and then again early in the morning and nobody looked into the matter. Overall, clean room, Yukky tub and noisy.

Besides the wear and tear on the rooms/banquet space, the hotel is a great bargain.
Walking distance to little restaurants and shops. The city seems very thick with local art and commerce.

The staff was great, but the facility is worn out. 2 out of 3 of the elevators were out of service at some point. The internet was not working and could not be made to work after numerous calls to the service provider. My room keys did not work at first.
Nice area, right along the river. Lobby and resturant were nice. The town is interesting and old.
