Over Booked

Booked weeks ahead, arrived with two kids and found out they overbooked the hotel. They suggested several hotels nearby and wished us luck.

The Best of the Eastern Shore

The Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, Md., is a new luxury hotel on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay, about 90 miles from Washington D.C.

It has everything: indoor and outdoor pools, spa, marina with boat rentals, an 18-hole golf course. About 30 minutes from Blackwater Refuge, a bird sanctuary.

The Hyatt Cambridge is a very attractive and sleek hotel. The hotel features an indoor pool and health club as well as a nice rooftop lounge that give you a panoramic view of Boston and the Charles River. The rooms are very nice with typical business amenities. One drawback is the location, which is convenient to MIT but relatively far to the T.
