Very unhappy with this motel. The employees spent their time talking about how bad the customers were. They clearly did not like the tourist. It is ashamed. The town was wonderful. But stay at a motel that is not so negitive.
We made a last minute reservation. The room was awful. It had a horrible odor. We went to the desk as soon as we walked in. We askeed if there were any other rooms. This room smelled as if someone had been ill in there. They told us they had availibilty, but we would have to pay extra. We were offended. The next day we went back and said ...

location.ease of comfort.bedding was the main problem-too soft, resulting in poor night(s) sleep.the owners should do something about this,as it is the chief complaint about this establishment.
My husband and I had never been to Ogunquit. We were looking for a place at the last minute for a nice getaway. I did a search online, looking for a room by the sea, in maine, with a spa tub in the room. We were very lucky to find Ogunquit resort and booked for four nights. We loved our room, which had a very nice spa tub, electric fireplace, ...

Wouldn't Choose This Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/06
Because my husband and I have two young children, we opted to stay in one of the suites. The suites are located next door to the rest of the hotel. This wasn't a real problem, except that it was quite a walk to the breakfast room all the way on the other side of the property. The "continental breakfast" was terrible. I hadn't ...

We'll be back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/06
We liked having the third bed in the room, but it was a little small for 5 of us with luggage. We would like to see them get wireless internet at no extra charge. The breakfast was okay. The pool and jacuzzi was really nice, but pool was a bit chilly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning again.
We reserved a room for our son and his family using our credit card. After they drove up from Massachusetts, the front desk refused to let them check in, because they hadn't brought their credit card -- even though they offered to pay in advance with cash.
On top of that, when we called to clear up the situation, they explained that they ...

I've gone Back almost every year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/06
I discoveed this motel/hotel 5-6 years ago and keep going back almost every year. Huge clean pool with plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas. Kids loved just going outside of room first thing in the morning for a swim. Hot tub is located under a gazebo next to the pool. Ogunquit trolley picks up next door to motel. Take the trolley shopping or to the beach. Beautiful town of Ogunquit and Perkins Cove just a couple of miles down the road.
Walking distance to the beach. A little longer walk to shopping, but doable. Room, hot tub and pool were very clean. Breakfast does leave something to be desired though. Get a toaster and microwave. Price was a little high for type of room, but average for the area. I would go back to this hotel.

Absolute best place to stay in one of the most beautiful vacation spots in the country with so much to do and see. You can find a good lobster just about any where and the motel adds comfort to your stay for the perfect vacation spot!
