the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.

The Doubletree in downtown New Orleans was fairly nice. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Location is excellent for all points in walking distance to downtown (and Harrah's is right across the street which was closer than it probably should have been! :-) We stayed here for 3 nights. I would go back but primarily because of location and convenience moreso than it being a "perfect" hotel.

I stayed here June 24-25, 2008. I was double charged for valet parking for the 25th (still has not been resolved). Then, almost a month later, I was charged $113 (for what I still do not know). This charge has been reversed, but I'm worried that I will receive more charges. I have not received a call back with an explanation yet.

One of the best if not the best bellhop in the city. Been going there for at least 5 years and this older black gentleman is awesome. Perfect stumbling distance from bourbon st. Very near riverwalk and cafe dumond and the beniets.

The Doubletree was located across the street from the awesome Harrahs Casino, Canal Shops and couple blocks from Bourbon St. Many restaurants, shops, entertainment in walking distance. Room was great, small bathroom, however. Friendly Staff.

Get a Southern meal like Momma used to cook, but only more elegant and classy. Stay for a day maybe a week you will not want to leave especially if you come around Mardi Gras. The food has a whole other side that tells you stay a little while longer.

I stay at this property probably 6-7 times a year -- the staff is very friendly and pleasant.

Stayed on the 15th floor this past weekend --fabulous bed.

The bathroom is a little small, but the room itself was spacious!

And the Doubletree cookies -- the best!!

This hotel is amazing. The staff is nice and very friendly. Their pool is pretty and fun to swim in. The hotel is right across from Saxs so you can spend your money shopping. Or you can spend it at Harrahs gambling. I love this hotel.

Need alot of repairs I was stuck In the elevator for a while. Not what you would expect from a hotel bearing the Hilton Name
