I staayed at this hotel in May. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. I would recommend this hotel to any body.

Good access to and from the airport. The shuttle vans are crap but once you get there it’s clean and reliable. If Mrs. Rose is cooking, you’re in for a treat; order a full Muffuletta sandwich and you can feed a family. Order any of the poor boys and feed two people. You may want to eat somewhere other than the smoke filled bar but the food is very good and the rooms are clean.

The motel staff gave great leadership and support during and after the hurricane. They found food and water, locked the building to keep out looters and other criminals. They provided lists of things to do to minimize problems and maximize safety. They eventually got us out of New Orleans to locations where we could get alternate transportation.

The room wasn't the cleanest we've experienced. We had to ask the maids for fresh linenson the beds.

Otherwise, it was very nice.
