Went there in Aug.of 07 me and my husband took our then seven year old son there for his birthday and loved it there. We are going again this Aug. the three of us and my husbands brother and his wife. We just thinks its such a great place the hotel is old but we really thought if was still nice can't wait to go back and show my brother and sister-in-law around

When I found reviews after I made a reservation. I was vey much concerned. But, when I arrived, the room was very clean and staffs were very friendly and kind. Of course, we do not have so many channels on TV. But, the purpose of our visit was not to watch TV at my room.
Foods were also good and waitless were so friendly as well. I would like to recommend to stay this hotel when discovering great cave nature.

I would only recommend staying in this hotel because it is so close to exploring the caves. Otherwise i would never ever stay there again. If you do stay there make sure you have slippers to wear the whole time you are walking on the rooms floors, your own bed linens, and dont expect to take a shower. The only nice thing about this room was it had a big flat screen. Well with its five channels.

I am just back from 3 days at the Mammoth Cave Hotel. It was dirty, dirty, dirty. Furnishings in poor condition. Food was so-so. Room was dark and depressing. Maybe they wanted us to feel like we were in the cave.

This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends

I did not dis like the hotel. They had great service and great rooms and I loved the cave tours. I will definally go back.

My wife and I stayed a week and enjoyed every minute. We plan on another trip there this year to finish what we missed out on...GREAT place!

In a recent business trip, the hotel catered to the needs of a group of Team Leaders from our facility. They catered to our every need. The grounds were beautiful, and although the rooms were somewhat outdated, they were clean and comfortable.
Most of all, the staff were the greatest. Especially seeing the beautiful smile on C's face each ...

the hotel was in its original state. everything was so 1950's but so well kept! the restaurant had the best fried chicken imaginable.we loved the hiking trails, they were well marked and easy to follow
