Very kind and helpful staff. Enjoyed everthing about my stay. Will stay there again, and again! The room was clean and LARGE. The price was also very affordable. i have stayed at other Hotels in that area and received far less for alot more money.

Very Nice Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/06
Not the first time we stayed at this property. The property had changed ownership and we had not stayed under the new owners. The property was as good as we remembered it under the previous owners. We were not expecting a complimentary, for two, breakfast buffet but it was good and their mini cinnamon rolls were as good as we remembered.

Among the best

Convenient location, right off I-74, great service all around. Their restaurant serves some of the best food in the Quad Cities in my opinion, but it's a bit pricey. Room layout and furnishings are excellent.
Did not like the dark decor inside - hallways are kinda Gothic and gloomy. Need to brighten up, but hard to do with all the dark wood.

A wonderful experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/05
At The Lodge you can experience eligance or casual comfort, just by the mood you want to set for youself. The relaxed atmosphere and emaculate kept grounds gives you that touch of class without touching deeply in the wallet. It provides a unique atmosphere, convenient location, and warm setting away from the brick and mortar sites seen at most ...

Good time/value

Fun time at this unique lodge. Loved the "old" feel of it and the corny bar with the one-man band. Swam in the pool, took the free shuttle to the casino and had a very good time. Needs some redocorating, but still had a great time for the price.

Looking forward to our winter getaway again this year!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/05
Each year we plan our annual winter getaway and are getting ready for this year's stay. We keep coming back because we have the most wonderful time in the only Scandinavian themed hotel in the area. Keep up the great work and we will be back again in 2006!

Old world charm with lots of antiques and beautiful decor. The staff could not have been nicer. We're going back for New Years next year.

Lovely romantic getaway spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/04
We've stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. We've usually gotten a weekend special package and it just can't be beat. The atmosphere is out of this world.
When you cross the gate to enter, you leave the fast paced world behind and enter into a slower more leisurely paced world. The food is outstanding, fresh ...
