I had a tenderloin while my husband enjoyed a blue plate special with roast beef. We were both pleasantly pleased. The manager personally came over to our table to ensure everything was tasting good. Very nice young man. I believe his name was Charlie. We also enjoyed an extra thick malt. It felt like the 50's again. I will definitely be going back

In the mid 90's a large part of this hotel was newly built including making a larger indoor pool and lobby. I'm sure that many people feel as we do that the restaurant isn't the best. Just drive west to Ankeny and there's plenty of places to eat. That's what we did.
