After much planning my family booked several rooms at the Moana Surfrider. On entering the lobby it was beautiful and the chandelier glimmered from the ceiling.I noted that the lobby was very tastefully decorated with simple but elegant flower arrangements.

The hotel has an old world quality to it. My wife and I went there for the first time in October 2006,when they had an earthquake. The hotel staff was amazing, though there was no power we were treated to beverages and snacks on the beautiful veranda until night fell. This is the best hotel in the islands.

I loved the hotel. I thought the rooms were clean,modern and spacious. A gorgeous view of hanauma bay and the sparkling water.

If you don't have much money to spend in town then the hotel will be the perfect place to resort to! with its pool,spa and sailing it is the hotel.

this hotel was beautiful, breath taking view of waikiki beach and diamond head, the room was spotless from the bathroom, carpet, sheets and the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. you can't go wrong.

The staff was extremely rude. The cleaning lady came and knocked on our door at 8am every morning. The guy working at the Bell Desk was talking on the cell phone, didn't bother to attend to guests and acted irritated when I asked him a question.

The room I stayed in was the worst. The bed was old and uncomfortble and the furnitures were ...

Hotel is very nice. Food is very expensive at hotel. The hotel is very historic. The grounds, patio and bar area are nice. Love the Banyon tree.

I hadn't stayed at this hotel in 23 years - but it was everything I remembered. We spent our anniversary at this hotel (in June '07) & were very surprised when they gave us the penthouse - at no extra charge. Beautiful room, beautiful view. I had wonderful memories from my last trip & now have even more wonderful memories. I was sad ...

On my first stay to Hawa'ii i stayed here and everything was perfect. I had no problems with my room at all. Not alot of noisy children, very peaceful. Great hotel to stay at if you have teenage children because of the beach very close to the hotel. I stayed in the newer part of the hotel and had a great view of the water. The hotel is also very close to many attractions and stores.

We spent the Christmas holidays in the hotel and couldn`t have been happier with our choice. Beautifully decorated throughout, we found the "spirit of Christmas" surrounding us.
