Reception was very friendly, we received a room upgrade - great ocean views. "Quiet" location as far as Waikiki goes. Rooms very clean and comfortable, well serviced daily. Great pool area. Excellent breakfasts. We stayed at three different hotels last visit as a "sampler" - Wyland Marriott, Aqua Wave Jnr Suite & Hilton ...

We can't wait to get back!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/08
Our visit was 20 years ago when the hotel was the Outrigger Prince Kuhio. In reviewing the pictures it brings back such nostalgia. We are planning a return trip this year almost 20 years to the date of our last. This would definately by my choice again due to the pleasant experiences we had the first time. Keep up the good work. Our choice of views was the mountain view as it is so surreal.

Stayed Here every year for 7 years!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/07
Sometimes multiple times a year, we keep coming back. We KNOW we will get quality service at an excellent value. We stick with what we know, and we know that the Prince Kuhio is a hotel we can trust.

Great Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/06
My husband and I stayed at the Radisson Prince Kuhio 03/26/06 to 04/01/06. Our overall experience was great. We had an oceanview room with a lanai that wrapped around so we could actually see the ocean and the mountains. All the workers were very pleasant when checking in and out we had a late flight so they allowed us to keep our luggage behind ...

Nice place to stay in Waikiki
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/27/06
Pros: 1) Great location (walk distance to Waikiki Beach) 2) Great price (got it less than $100/day including tax) 3) Remodeling (until end of 2006) wasn't an issue 4) Friendly staff 5) We checked in as early as 11AM
Cons: 1) Room is small (compared to our condo in Maui) 2) Need to pay extra for ocean view, king size bed 3) Food is expensive (highly recommend Perry's Smorgy Restaurants a few blocks up Kuhio Ave)

One night stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/06
I give it a pretty good rating because the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The room was nicely decorated, but it had a slight smell everytime I entered it. The smell seemd to go away when I opened the siding glass doors to the balcony, however there was a fair amount of street noise, once the door was open. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, however with the exception of the fresh fruit it was pretty bland.
Just got back last week from Prince Kuhio. This hotel isn't even close to a four star. Our first night was miserable, the bed was the hardest we have ever experienced with springs poking through the mattress pad. We also had a big cockroach in our room NO LIE and this is a Radisson Hotel. Its not like we are expecting much, a comfortable bed, ...

It was a wonderful experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/05
My husband and I stayed here in June for our anniversary. We chose this hotel after reading many many many reviews on all of the hotels. For the money, this is definitely a good place to stay. It is very convenient to everything...beach, shopping, dining, etc. When we purchased our trip online the buffett breakfast was not included in our price; ...
