I loved this place. The price looks high at first but it is inclusive of your meals, some water activities, Luau's and much more. It is a great value for what you pay and the food is awesome. I ordered green tea the first morning the next morning the staff asked if I would like Green Tea ant the third morning they brought it to me when I sat ...
I can't say enough about Kona Village! My wife and went there for our honetmoon. The staff was friendly. The place is super clean, and the food.....Wow! I can see why Kona has so many repeat visitors. You should plan on staying for at least a week. The jet lag is hell. The hales are incredible. Eventhough there is no A/C they do stay ...
I'm not sure what to think of one of the reviews listed, but that IS NOT Kona Village. We stayed here for a week during our honeymoon. The hales (hut) are incredible, the people (maintenance to management) were so polite and helpful. We checked in at night, and by lunch the next day, all employees knew us by name. The food is to die for. ...

Portal into Heaven

This place is a portal into heaven, a little bit of paradise on earth. Nature permeates you here in a subtle way that is very healing to the spirit and soul. The people are friendly, the food is fantastic and you just don't want to leave. Whales, dolphins, all kinds of fish. Just go to the beach shack and jump in a kayak or the glass bottom ...

I arrived at the hanu...and after a few oohs and aahs and the lovely suite..proceeded to the lanai where I promply fell asleep to the sweet fragrances of Hawaii in the air and the sound of the gentle surf steps away. The feel was like none other I have felt before or since. As a travel professional for over thirty years I can say that the Kona ...

Not like a hotel, so much better!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/05
I stayed at kona village 15 years ago and enjoyed living in a hut with ocean breezes and the sound of waves to fall asleep. Tiki lamps light the way through lush garden paths every night going to dinner. Lots of great food. I'm going back this fall and will update my review. Everything is included. I couldn't swim well and a staff member took me snockeling no extra charge.

I have been going to Kona Village with my wife for the last four years. It is a wonderfully relaxing vacation. I already have plans for next year.
Kona Village is a unique resort on the BI. There are no phones, tv or radios. Cell phones are not permitted outside of your hale. You stay in individual hales, this is not a big box place. The ...
