I went to JICH with a boyfriend a couple of years ago. I was so taken by the history and beautiful setting. Our room was a little small,well-used, but nice and clean. (We got an off-season weekend deal.) And then the main dining room and wait service was really great. We had a wonderful, relaxing breakfast in a upscale sort of country inn experience. I intend to return with friends or attached :-) Highly recommended!

This hotel and staff was awesome! As soon as you checked in, you felt like you were somewhere else other than Ga.or Fla.. The grounds were quiet and they had wrap around porches everywhere. My wife and I went there on a whim and we fell in love with the charm,the people and the area. It was the best part of our vacation even though it was not a planned part. Went not knowing what to expect, boy did we have a great time.

Friendly service. Beautiful & clean room. Wonderful places to walk and explore. Not on beach, but has it's on private beach on the beach-side of island. Dining areas are pricey but were worth it. Always felt clean and safe.

Spent a long weekend with 3 children(6 months to 9years old) we all had a great time. The childrens programs and childcare was fabulous. Loved the Sunday Morning Victorian brunch.
