We stayed one night and got out as early as possible the next morning. Tried to shower before leaving, but the water from the shower was rusty. Ate at the hotel when we checked in and had to wait at least 30 minutes after our meal to get our check. Don't stay at this one.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn for four nights and found it a decent place to stay. It's a convenient location if you want to be near the beach and also close to historical St Augustine. If you want a good ocean view make sure you are staying on the 3rd floor or above. We were on the second floor and not a great ocean view it was a view of the ...

STINKY/DUMP-RIPOFF
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/09
HERE'S THE GOOD POINTS..PEOPLE, FOOD, BEACH. HERE'S THE BAD: ROOMS STINK, DAMP, DIRTY, NASTY, OLD, BATHROOMS ARE RANK, HALLWAYS STINK, HOT,DARK. THEY CHARGED OVER $380 IN DEBT TO MY DEBIT CARD IN ERROR WHICH TOOK ME THE BETTER PART OF THE MORNING TO HAVE TAKEN OFF MY ACCOUNT THROUGH MY BANK. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN MY CAR. THE PICTURES THEY HAVE POSTED ON THE INTERNET ARE BOGUS WHAT A DUMP.
First of all I think that the people working here were very friendly. I only stayed in this hotel for two nights and had to change rooms 3 times. When I walked into the hallways it had a stench of mildew and all you can hear was the sound of a vibrating ice maker. it was real loud. When I walked into the first room there was no air circulating ...
When I read the other reviews, I was a little worried. We were treated great. We had our dog (our furry child) with us, and they were very pet friendly. The hotel room was clean. The staff was great. We woke up early and watched the sun rise (we are from San Diego, Cal, so we are used to watching it set over the pacific)We had the breakfast buffet ...
Beachfront location is great, getting it for free (used Priority Club points) is even greater. Otherwise, an ordinary mid-range hotel. Decent beds and towels, noisy climate control system, walls that let all sounds in.

Great Stay

My wife and I had a great experience here. The hotel is right on the St. Augustine oceanfront and has access via the pool area to the ocean. The rooms were clean and well-sized. The bathrooms were sparkling clear. Each room had a balcony or patio, and each room has a dehumidifyer!!! In Florida, that is an essential. The hotel has a sports bar and a ...
This hotel shows its age. I'm a little curious to see what it looks like when the renovations are complete. First off, the halways are dark and don't have AC...that is a big turnoff. Make sure you ask for a non-pet room (they allow pets on the 1st and 2nd floor). Our first room stunk terribly, we went to complain and were alongside ...
The hotel is not safe. Broken door on ground floor level in back gives everyone access without a hotel pass key. The lobby is cold, the restaurant food is bland (no one eats there). Saturday night and the place was dead. They allow dogs and they allow them on all floors. They can be noisy. Elevators are slow and make a lot of noise. Lobby ...
Good things first: The hotel staff were very friendly. The price wasn't bad for an oceanfront hotel. Unfortunately, now there's the bad: un air-conditioned hallways and elevator - with no display. We stayed 3 nights. The first night, we had some drunk guy playing his guitar on the non-private balcony until the late hours - we asked him ...
