  • Magnificent place to stay!

    Everything about our stay in the Mayflower was superb. The room was small but very elegant. The Concierges were all outstanding and helpful. It is close to the some of main attractions and city transportation system. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

    They do an awesome job of making this 100 year old hotel look brand new. Everything is classy, from the wonderful bellmen and the lobby entrance to the very large, well upkept rooms. The beds are very soft, the temperature control was easy to use and it worked perfectly and the bathroom was large and had a shower that did what you wanted it to do- ...

    I planned a long weekend get away here for my wife and I, but a last minute business delay required me to take a later flight. She went on the originally scheduled flight and I made a call to the concierge of this hotel to see if she could arrange a limo pickup at the airport plus a massage when my wife arrived at the hotel.   • I was so giddy when I arrived at the Mayflower that I called my Husband about four times by the time I got to my room. Just a fabulous romantic historic hotel. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to return.

    I loved the graciousness of the hotel and the wonderful people employed there. Everyone made me feel very special. I found the hotel to be "over the top" in beauty and elegance.

  • Disappointed in Room

    Every aspect of this hotel was lovely. We were extremely disappointed with the size of our room. Our room was so small, we didn't even have room for a chair and ottoman. I was here on business and was very frustrated to learn that my co-worker, who paid the same rate, had a room considerably larger than mine. As a Marriott Rewards customer, I was very disappointed.

    Wonderful hotel!
    We took a long road trip and stayed in DC as a last minute descion. The Mayflower made our trip relaxing, comforatable and extremly enjoyable. The service was wonderful!

  • Great deal on historic hotel

    I've stayed at this hotel twice and payed around $150/night both times which included breakfast. Fantastic deal for a great location in a wonderful historic hotel.

  • The Place to stay for GLB

    Great Location..... Just south of Dupont Cir. In walking distance of clubs and wonderful restaurants. The rooms have a romatic air, wonderful bedding, enough to make you not want to leave the bed, and perrrrrfect for room service.

  • Great Hotel for Business in downtown

    This is a wonderful hotel with an elegant historic Washington DC feel. I truly enjoy staying at this hotel and do so every time I have Business in downtown DC. Also it is close to all the local attractions and there are three metro stations close to the hotel. In addition you can enjoy a spectacular meal in the hotel or there are several very good places to eat within walking distance
