This hotel had the best bed I have ever slept in on my travels! The location could not have been better for the sight seeing. Very clean rooms and we had the nicest maid that treated us like royalty. Convenient shops and food under the hotel off the metro stop. We took the metro from the airport and got to the hotel lobby in 15 minutes. I would recommend giving this place a try.
This place is tuly a dump! I'm not sure how in the world this can be considered 3.5 star hotel. Room smelled, service was aweful. It was expensive and worst of all, looked nothing like what the pictures will lead you to believe. Pictures are very very misleading. Never again!

Its not a bad hotel, really, but they are undergoing external renovations as I write this. I have had a jackhammer going on the roof right above my head for the last half an hour with plans of it going on for hours more. Its close to the mall but I'd have walked further to avoid this disaster.
My family and I stayed here April 4, 2008 for 2 nights, during the cherry blossom festival. Our room was on the 12th floor. The windows were absolutely filthy but you could see the top of the Washington monument! Also, there was tape around the outside of the windows and at 1 point men working right outside the windows. The toilet seat, tv remote, ...

This hotel desperately needs renovation. The carpet, curtains, etc are dirty. The bathrooms are right out of the 70s. They are tiny and the fixtures are old and cheap. Service? A friend parked her own car, came inside for 20 minutes and when she returned got a bill for $18 Suggest you look elsewhere.
I spent four nights at this hotel on a business trip. The previous reviews had me a little concerned about my choice but upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised. The entire Hotel staff was very pleasant, very friendly and very helpful. My room was one of the most comfortable rooms I have stayed in.The room was exceptionally clean,(I tend to be ...
We chose hotel based on reviews on child.com for 'best hotels with children in DC'. The one selling point was the all weather pool. Our stay took place in mid March 08, and it was a bit nippy outside. The pool was covered, but you had to walk through a canvas lined hallway from the gym with the breeze chilling you as you came and went from ...
While the website looks great, the hotel itself is a complete disappointment. The staff at the Fitness Center is completely rude and non-chalant, and the lifeguard at the pool did not even pay attention to my children in the pool. The food was good, but took forever to come. I did not feel like it was worth the stay. Moreover, having spoken with ...

Stayed at L’Enfant Plaza from 12/25/07 thru 12/30/07. I traveled to DC with my 9 year old to go see the sights. I noted that reviews were very mixed for this hotel online. I opted to go ahead and stay here solely based on the convenience of having a metro stop located on the lower level. This was very nice – as we took the metro from ...
