The Latham is in a good Georgetown location and an easy walk to many excellent restaurants. The circulator bus makes an quick trip to the Metro or goes all the way to Union Station. Rooms are well decorated and come in various sizes. Smaller rooms are OK and the larger rooms are excellent.
Hotel is quiet and peaceful after a busy day. Nice lobby with a helpful staff.
Rooms are small, but cozy bedding. Bring a cooler for dinner leftovers etc... no refrigerator or microwave. Lacks amenities and overcharges for the available ones, but staff are outstanding, rooms very comfortable and clean.

This is by far my favorite place to stay in all of DC. The rooms are a bit small, but the beds are so luxurious and the staff was super friendly. The location is perfect, and La Madeline is right out front for brunch or a quick snack.
