  • Loved it!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/07
I went to the Broadmoor for a business conference. This was definitely one of the top three hotels I have ever stayed in. The service was extraordinary & the room was absolutely perfect. As I wasn't paying for my room & meals, I can't comment on the expense or value. Getting wireless in the conference room we used was next to impossible though.

The view is wonderful- great service and you feel so pampered.
This place is such a treat for us to stay, and totally different from anywhere in the world. PLUS, I love the mountain veiw!
We all stayed here for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2000 and had a great time. Love it at The Broadmoor and cannot wait to be there in July of this year-- 2007.

We liked the pools and the chocolate pedicures! The food and the service was wonderful. We also liked taking bikes from the hotel around the neighborhoods.

  • What a Lobster!!
    By Petey, 09/15/06
The restaurant in this place is pricey but worth it. Especially if someone else is paying!! I had the Lobster here and it was twice the size of the plate it came on. The plate wasn't more of a platter, than a plate. I couldn't even eat the whole thing. It was cooked to perfection. You could actually taste the Lobster and not all the ...

  • W O W !
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/06
Recently took small group of clients for Golf, R&R, and Golf.Rooms in West tower (new part) were big, comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean, and had wonderful views from the (room #4567) balcony featuring the golf courses and mountains. Clients will remember this trip forever! Food in six of the restaurants was outstanding. Service was prompt ...

The service was excellent, the resort was beautiful and the setting with the lake and mountains breathtaking. I've been to other resorts and this was the nicest.

  • Old time elegance & great location
    By Alpha Wolf, 08/02/06
The Broadmoor is not much different than it was when it was first turned into a resort in the early 1900s. One of the few 5 star resorts within the US it lives up to its rating with its food & service. The rooms themselves are very small, but, like rooms on a cruise line, you don't expect to spend much time in them so it doesn't ...

  • Favorite Place in Colorado
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/06
Over 30 years ago, my husband and I were driving in Colorado using an old Texaco guide when we took a turn and saw the Broadmoor. What a sight! Framed by the Cheyenne Mountains, right by a lovely lake, it was just beautiful. We had very little money, but we just had to stay there. We had a room in what was then the Sport Commplex. I am sure ...
