The air conditioning in the rooms are aweful. Its either really hot or super cold, nothing in the middle. Plus, when you turn it on it fills the room with the smoke from the train station. Not good if you have breathing problems! The hall ways and walk ways are filthy! For the price of this hotel, they need to step up the cleanliness and the service. Stay somewhere else if you are visiting Durango.

I had a deal to stay here and so it was great if I had to pay rack rate - not so much.

The complimentary cocktail hour and breakfast were both good. It is convenient and comfortable - not too noisy, clean - all and all a very enjoyable place to stay.

Cons : Hotel is OLD, Hotel romms are clean, stuff is moderate, room air condition is highly noisy. imposible refrigarators noise in dining room, don't buther to sit, just pick it to the room. you cant realy talk if you are with a company. NO house keeping after 12 PM.

Pros : very close to downtown, walking distance. free parking..

worth it? i'm not sure. i will try other options next time.. try the WYNDHAM..

ALL IN ALL A GOOD STAY. THE A/C COULD HAVE BEEN COOLER. ALSO, FEW LITTLE BLACK BUGS IN THE BATHROOM.

THE LOCATION IS GREAT AND THE INDOOR POOL WAS GREAT.

the hotel was very clean, great breakfast and walking distance to everything downtown.. the pool area was a little loud. so, i would get a room not facing the pool but, on the outside..overall a pleasant stay. I can't wait to go back..

I stayed with my two kids and they had a blast.
Our room was clean and well decorated, But the pool area was very nice! The Hotel was walking distance to everything and the railroad was across the street. I will always stay here when in Durango.
