The rooms were small, stale and outdated. I saw and killed four roaches in the lobby and bar/lounge area. The desk people were nice, but the rooms were awful. Tub/showers awkwardly built, cable reception awful, mattresses flat and lumpy, coffee maker - dirty.

If you like to be kept up all night long by construction noise and the constant beeping of earth-moving vehicles backing up, this hotel is for you. This is an old hotel. It is in need of renovation. It is owned by USC and there are students on two floors. It very expensive for what you get. What you are buying is location to USC, Galen center and the Coliseum. It is adequate but know you are paying top dollar for the location, not the hotel. The comfort bed rooms are nicer and if you can get a "deal" certainly worth it.

This is basiclly an overpriced Motel 6. If you are visiting USC and want to park/walk, you have no other choice. THe rooms are adequate, and generally clean, the front desk staff was friendly, the bellmen and valets are terrific but overworked. Upon arriving the bell hop assisted me in bringing in flowers, seat covers, table clothes and decorations for the party, the banquet mgr(Alfredo) directed his team for last minute changes and through out the affair with a command of excellence and respect. Security was polite and repectfull. Thank You to all for making the party a success and a day to remember for my daughter and her family and friends.

This is a good option if you need easy access to USC (basically, because it's the only option within walking distance). The bed is uncomfortable and the area is noisy. I recommend asking for a room facing USC, because there is construction facing the freeway (also, the view is much prettier). Room service food is sub-par and expensive. If you can, have food delivered from elsewhere.
