This is an older motel, but clean. Our section of the motel overlooked the street (not the backside of another building.) and had a tiny balcony. Free parking is a plus, but the noise was almost intolerable. In mid-week July 09, the loud tour buses (with engines running) stopped across the narrow street all day long; garbage trucks and street ...

the Warf Inn has NO AIRCONDIONING...only Heat!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/09
The biggest issue i have with the Warf Inn was is that they have NO AIRCONDITIONING installed in their rooms. The price was way over what the room was worth for what we were quoted at 160per night and the rooms are small and outdated. There was No HairDryer on the wall for the wife, The cable TV was snowy, and the Alarm Clock had buttons on it that ...

Loved staying here.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/09
The staff were outstanding in every way. It was my first trip to San Francisco and the staff were helpful and so patient. Arrived at 11pm and didn't know how close Pier 39 was untill the next morning. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
Walk out your room right into the heart of the Warf. A 7-11 is mere steps away to keep you stocked up on beer; a good thing considering the Warf area is very pricey especially drinks.(exp. $7.50 for a pint of DOMESTIC beer, $6.50 for a bottle of budweiser and around $8.00 for a basic Margarita). Another great item is the S.F. multi-stop tour bus ...

It is true that their is free parking, but the rooms are not updated, the furniture is old, and the cable doesnt work, I only saw like 6 channels. The amenities are non existant, it is very noisy, the hotel is infront of a 24 hour convenience store which is very noisy, people where fighting in the front of this store, and their where people asking ...

Excellent location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/06
The Wharf Inn is at a great location. Just steps from Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.Next time we're in SF I would return. Rooms are not fancy but comfortabe and good enough to just have a place to sleep. I did not have any noise problems.Cannot beat the free parking. I do recommend the Wharf Inn.
And that's not the best part. The rates are wonderful, and there is FREE parking, which directly off the Embarcadaro, parking rates usually tend to be high ($6.00/hour or $15.00/8 hours). The rooms are squeaky clean, the room we had was very spacious. Although this property is an older, outdoor-type motor lodge, it is obviously kept in great ...

Our Favorite Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Free Parking (need I say more). This is my choice of hotels in the SF Bay area. We have stayed there for over 9 years. Close to the Wharf, right off the Embarcardero. I have stayed at others but for the $ it fits the budget. The location is perfect if you are going to cross the Goldden Gate, or just wanting to take a stroll down the wharf, ...
