This was actually a let down for a hotel. The place felt like a retirement community, both in the physical location and the guests. I was upgraded to a suite, however, even though the rooms were HUGE, there was almost no furniture in it. What little furniture was there, was most likely older than I am. The other Holiday Inns in the area (on the bay) are much better.

This hotel is worn out. Small rooms. Noisy room where I can't even sleep at night. If you want a good night's sleep, never come here.

Very disappointing stay. The room was tiny, not suitable for one person, maybe, but not our family of four. Hotel had heavy construction every day, right outside our window. Who would book people into a construction zone? The bed was rock hard. I am still recovering. We called housekeeping for an extra sheet and blanket and received no response ...

Despite record high temps, while we were there, this locale was tops. Easy drives to the sights and city. We can't report any negative feedback.

Liked being close to Balboa Park and the Marina.

Did not like the noise from the planes, being close to the airport.

Not for families, room are too small.

we just loved the location. it was convenient for walking distance of a great seafood place as well as other attractions.the room and service were good.

The stay at the Holiday Inn was a great trip. The hotel was close to some of the activities, especially the dinner cruise that was outstanding. We will definitely be back again as the cruise was a little bit of heaven on earth. The hotel staff were most gracious and a nice stroll down the boardwalk was very romantic. Thank you

The hotel is close to the Airport, which is good. Excellent shuttle service. Picked us up in less than 10 minutes. Taxi's in front of hotel ready to go. Can't say enough about the help in getting us a rental car by the shuttle driver. Clean room, great room service.
