we enjoyed our stay there in May of 2008

We were there in May of 2008; it was perfectly CLEAN, with brand new blancets and bedding sets. The room was HUGE, I mean it, good air circulation in the room - 3 windows - one in the room, one in the kitchen area, one in the washroom. Front desk people were very friendly and helpfull and the LOCATION is perfect, about 5 min to all tourist ...

Smelly Hotel Dump Off the Freeway

Bad smell in room. Office let me look at 3 different rooms, then decided not to check in. You must ring on bell to get into lobby. many transient clients.

Early Morning Flight

The one King Bed room wass large and clean. There were plenty of pillows and the bed was very comfortable. The distance to the airport was quick and short, just as described on your site. The area was quiet and peaceful. I was able to get a good night's sleep.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The best CHEAP hotel

The hotel was great for the cheap price. Besides, you don't stay at the hotels long when you are wanting to see paradise, so don't pay for an expensive hotel room if you aren't going to be there to enjoy it. This hotel had everything the travel needed for half the price.

This is basically a motel. We did not expect much and did not get disappointed either. It was clean enough. The beds are big (two queens). The only sad thing is that I found out later that this Travelodge's own web site is advertizing a $50 per room special and I had to pay yahoo $80 to get the same room - and yahoo charges a $25 fee for ...

An OK place to stay

The staff were very friendly and my room was ready and waiting for me. It was just a basic motel room with older decor and no upgrades, but was clean and comfortable.
Not my best travelling experience, but certainly not my worst, and for the price and location I would certainly stay there again.

Not bad, but you get what you pay for..

Overall, the quality of the room was pretty low. The bathroom was tiny and aging, and the bed was quite worn. But this was one of the cheaper hotels in the area, so if you are only there to crash for the night, you might consider this hotel. The location (Hotel Circle) can't be beat if you are planning on visiting the major tourist attractions in San Diego.
