Good location, but marginal room. Bed like a brick and could hear the "neighbors". Furniture older and scratched up. The price was good for the area, but my back wasn't happy....

The Normandy Inn is beautiful, quaint and very comfortable, and convenient to everything!
We look forward to going to Carmel, as we use to live there. It is our very favorite place, and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!
The staff is very hospitable and friendly!

My husband and I went to Carmel for a week getaway and the location at Normandy Inn was fabulous but that did not make up for the noise that we experienced while being in our room. We love the location and the charm. Add in breakfast and its such a deal. We look forward to many more trips. The location was great we walked to dinner each night and down to the beach to watch the sunset. The resident cat adds to the charm!

My daughter and I were lucky enough to stumble across this terrific place in Jan 06 and found it just the best spot....close to the centre of town, walk to the beach and offering the most comfortable beds we found in the states.

The room I had at the Normandy Inn had a beautiful fireplace, was spacious, decorated very nicely, and was as clean as could be. It was very cozy and relaxing, and compared to other inns in Carmel, much roomier, cleaner and lovlier for the price. (The prices at the Normandy Inn are significantly lower during the winter months!)
I plan to go back soon, and look forward to what I know will be a good experience.
