I'll keep it short, I don't want to remember any of it. Dirty room, "pests" crawling in the hallway, bad service, noisy and dark. If that's your idea of a nice place to stay, feel free to book for an overpriced room. It is a good location if that's all you care about. I wonder how long they'll last on their "name"

1) Dirty tubs and sinks in the bathroom
2) Was stuck in a joining room where the joining door did not LOCK. Security claimed to have it locked 3 times but the door could be opened.
3) It was like a club, people shouting at 3am and walls are paper thin.
4) The sheets had stains on it and the bed and pillows were lumpy.
5) Walking down the hallway saw a few cockroaches crawling around.
6) Don't understand the hyper here. Be warned.

wish we stayed longer, made our honymoon so special so much to see and do food excellent rooms beautiful location first class would love to return in the near future and stay a little longer......

Service was fair, maybe. Service at Tropicana pool bar more than excellent- bartenders awesome. Decor and atmosphere of hotel very L. A. Great experience. Poolside cabana rooms a must with very reasonable pricing. Will most definitely be back.

this was a swanky hotel. entrance is dark, gothic-looking 1920's and the patrons were urban hipsters in $400 jeans and flip flops. 2 restaurants- 25 Degrees hosted burgers and sophisticated wine. Teddy's is a secluded restaurant with oversized seats. the waiter said the Hilton sisters frequent the place.

I got my reservation thru an on-line pick your price site. The price I offered was what you might pay for a discount hotel chain. They accepted my offer for a 1-nite 2 room stay for 4 people. We were only there for 2 days, but our stay was amazing. Somehow we got lucky and were upgraded to a cabana room overlooking the pool. The room was beautiful and the bath...OMG! It was such fun to have exclusive admittance to the pool area and Tropicana Bar after 9pm and see the stars that show up. Would definitely stay here again....in fact working on that as I write.

The hotel is beautiful. The service is amazing. The standard room is very small and cramped. For a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed...the carpet in our room was torn and dirty. The furniture was extremely hip and tasteful, but had way too many nicks and scratches for a 4 star. It seemed like a college dorm room. Probably worth while to upgrade your room.
