Considering where it is located, this is a very good deal. It's nothing special, but the price is right, the place is clean, the people are nice enough, but it's a motel, so you don't have lots of interaction. It's a good base to visit the sights of the Monterey Bay area.

Padre Oaks is a great alternative to high priced hotels. It's very clean and the owners are extremely pleasant. There aren't any frills - but the money you save here you can use out on the town. With everything else so expensive, you'll be glad you stayed here!
