While the rooms were redone and looked nice, the exterior was very average and the noise from the other rooms (due to the thin walls)was very loud. This hotel is completly revamped. We stayed and loved it. As I read some of these reviews I notice they are very old. They made every effort to make sure we were happy and not bothered by the construction (which is almost done). Great place to stay really clean.

The staff was kind and helpful; the rooms lovely, clean and very pleasing both visually and physically. Love the flat screen TV and cute fireplace.

I didn't understand some of the other reviews until I looked at the dates.

Even though they were still working on the lobby, the room was incredible. We have paid hundreds more for less. The Loccitane sold the wife. BTW its right in the middle of one of the most beautiful parts of California, if you saw Sideways, thats the place.
