San Francisco is a unique city. The hotel was very quaint and something that was definitely out of the ordinary. I would stay again.

I liked the friendly service, the great breakfast buffet. The location is awesome, walking distance from anywhere you want to go.

My husband and I recently returned from San Francisco. Our stay at the Cartwright Hotel was wonderful!!
The people, service,cleanliness, location and value were more than we expected. The hotel suggested certain tours for us and they were perfect. Someone was always there to give us directions and offer suggestions for things to do. They even reminded us to bring jackets when we went out on the water! We will certainly be visiting again.

The Cartwright is a great little hotel in the heart of San Francisco. The staff was friendly...great restaurant recommendations. Wine tasting at 5:00 pm topped off the day. Rooms are a little small, but cosy and clean. You are right by the cable car pick up and drop off..and next to union square. Great Location!
