The location of the motel is excellent, being within walking distance of most of SF´s main attractions. The room was really smelly, we guessed it came from mold or something, but we got used to it. The rooms were noisy due to the traffic and poor insulation in the walls. the real problem with this place were the unfriendly staff.

On arrival at this motel, what struck me was the manner of the desk clerk...it was a bit disconcerting to say the least - he was as rude as anybody I have met and unnecesarily so.

the room was clean and big but noise is a big factor being as next door left their TV on full blast all night long - therefore at check out time we certainly did!

Again, staffing was the real issue - 'Have a Bad Day' should be the motto!!!

Nice views, close to restaurants right there on vaness, close to Fishermens wharf, and there is a cute restaurnat under the motel indipendently owned and operated. good breakfast. The owners wife cleaned the spilt chocolate milk off of my little girls shirt.

We paid less that USD$100 per night April 2007. Room had poor ventilation, was very small & noisy. Beds were very uncomfortable. Front desk staff were mostly very friendly & helpful. In Oct 2007 price rose to $180 per night which is totally over the top for this place. Rooms acceptable at cheaper price but deffinately not for $180.
