This place is a diveThe staff was nice, the courtyard was clean as was the room, the shower was broken, the vanity was broken, the microwave didn't work nor did the refridgerator didn't work either and the cabinets were nailed closed. Exactly what I needed.Needed to stay night to check in for surgery very early next morning at Cedars-Sinai . Perfect location, one mile, excellent price, friendly service, no charge parking, comfortable and clean. Very pleased.1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

A Fun Place to stay..Ive stayed at the beverley laural twice, both times whilst on break with the band I work for between tours. with my job I have stayed in some amazing and some far form amazing places round the world and I still think This place is in my top 3.. ok so its not the newest of places, but its atmospehere and ambiences is what this place is all about.. ...3 of 3 Yahoo! The Place to send the in-lawsWe had a great time in LA. The view from the rooms and corridors is magnificent, the place is immaculate, the service amazing, and the atmosphere quiet and peaceful. You'd never guess how close the motel really is to everything! We loved it so much so that we are sending the parents-in-law there while on their trip to LA and we're sure to get some really great brownie points with them.1 of 1 Yahoo! Never Fotten my Stay at Beverly LaurelEven after gee I don't know how many years ago, I still to this day remember the Beverly Laurel. I loved that awesome place and it's totally cool 1960's ambieance. It was like feeling as if you would expect to see people in bell bottoms , gogo boots and false eyelashes with frost eye shadow and lipstick walking around! Such a neat ...2 of 2 Yahoo! Great value, a bit tired but cleanStayed there over President's Day week in Feb, 2008, paid under 100/night for room with 2 queen beds with AAA discount. The front desk told me they also have a few larger rooms. The room had a microwave and a small refrigerator that smelled, but did work.

I can't forget their kindness.10 years ago, I often stayed there for job from japan every month for 5-14days.
the owner was so friendly and took care for me.
the location is just 5minutes from beverly center, and convenience to drive around LA.
but quiet at night.
the room was not new but very clean.
besides, they have a various different interior of each room.

Let's do the time warp againI read these reviews before staying there. The place is like stepping back into the Sixties. It's not a new, modern upscale hotel. Yet, the room was quite acceptable, clean and comfortable. There was absolutely no problems whatsoever associated with the parking garage. The restaurant downstairs was great. Great ValueThis is a great hotel in an excellent location for a great value! Yes, the rooms are simple, the beds are not brand new, and the plumbing is circa 1972. But ... the diner downstairs is fun and has great food! You can walk to the beverly hills shopping mall, hollywood is a few blocks away, farmer's market is up the street, on and on.
