room was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast was really good,
hotel was very busy as a Doc Who convention was taking place. everyone made us feel welcome, would stay again if ever in LA area.

The King room was a disappointment - small room, VERY small televison - seems like a high end travel lodge to me.

After having had enough of Monarch Grand Vacations' accomodations in Palm Springs, we decided to accomodate ourselves in LA... Best experience ever! Friendly staff, beautiful room! THere is a charge for parking, but not if you have a handicap sleeve. Reserve online in advance for best deals. Hotel itself is beautifully landscaped and is located ideally from Universal, Hollywood, LAX, Malls, etc.

Desk staff was extremely accommodating, the room had recently been remodeled and was spotless. The parking was secure and immediate adjacent neighborhood was ok. Would definitely like to stay there again.

A little nervous looking at the surrounding neighborhood but the hotel was very nice. Our room had been remodeled and was very nice. No complaints at all. My wife and daughter enjoyed the heated pool.

I took the advice of the other reviewers here and stayed at the Airtel for 4 nights last week on two separate occasions. Overall, it was a good experience with a nice room and good service. I got a good rate ($99/night) at Expedia which was better than the walkup rate ($169). Additional renovations were in progress but did not diminish my ...

The property and staff are first class. Service cannot be beat, even by the big boys. The Airtel has all of the ammenities you need or could want. Probably the best independent hotel in Los Angeles. There are others where you can spend more, stay in higher priced zip codes, but nobody treats their guests better.

Friendly, helpful staff; great service; awesome full buffet breakfast with lots of items to choose from; comfy rooms; nice accessible room for the disabled. Would prefer to eat at other places close to the hotel - but still love their breakfast! :)
