Were very happy on arrival. Were there for 10 days and found staff very helpful and friendly and the food in the outdoor restaurant was very good. But we had problems with the toilet in our room - it kept blocking and flooding and we were told that the system was quite old and it happened often. I have stayed here twice and yes it is $ priced high. but this resort has it all, and makes for the perfect spot for familes of 6 or more. all the rooms are fitted to sleep 6 with 2 king & and a sofa sleeper.

The pool is the best in the area * the service is tops.

The location is not great for the Clearwater Beach activity you will have to drive and park for that. but only 5 min. You can enjoy the Sand Key Shops next door.

Marriott staff couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. The view is fabulous...I drank my coffee on the balcony every morning watching dolphins and pelicans get breakfast in the intracoastal waterway. One morning we even saw 2 manatees. The suite set up is great as kids and parents can get their own space. The rate was a bit expensive but once you are there, it really is worth every penny. Would go back without question.

Had the room cost $100 per night it would be great, but at $300 it is obviously a cash cow for Marriot.
