I would have thought the new owners would have put a little money into it. Our non smoking room wreaked of smoke. Screens had holes in them. Paint was peeling off walls in room. Cigarette burns on tub/shower. Outside of refrigerator had splatters of food all over it. One night was enough!

My family had visited Panama City Beach a dozen or so times. And had stayed at this motel twice. Last fall, i returned to hear that it would be torn down. But to my suprise, it wasnt run down, it was in great shape as usual. I was quite pleased with my stay here, and play to return many times more. My family and I were guest at this hotel from 08/01/05 to 08/05/05. We had the best vacation we have ever had! We were at the perfect location on the beach (far away from the "crowd", but close enough to anything we would need. The room was VERY CLEAN, and the pool and hottub were Wonderful! We plan all future stays their!

Having stayed at the Sea Witch several times, we were sad to hear that it had been sold to a Developer and would not be open after last year. Recently a relative passed through PCB and called to tell us it was open under a different name and/or new ownership. I hope the owners have continued the practice of providing a clean comfortable family-oriented resort. My family is already making plans to stay at Grand Cayman next year!

this was the nastiest place i have ever stayed. concrete block walls with mold. disgusting tile in bathroom. kind of "low rent" with a hooker working the pool. you could not pay me to stay there again!

We stumbled upon this little gem just north of the "spring break wooh" of PCB. It was mostly full of families and mellow beach goers. The hotel overlooks the ocean and the rooms have kitchenettes: the ingredients needed for a great break from the big city! Affordable, friendly, low key and very romantic.

The pool is a nice size & the rooms are really nice.

This was the worst MOTEL i have ever stayed in. I was afraid to walk around bare-foot all throughout the room. There's nothing like cinder-block walls and dirty silverware to further enhance your vacation. The roaches also had a hard time getting adapted to this horrible environment.

We have been staying at the Grand Cayman for over five years, since it was the Sea Witch, and it is the only pace that we consider when we visit Panama City Beach. We have also stayed during different seasons, the rooms are always clean, the staff is always very friendly and very helpful.The location is convient and quiet, and the rooms are comfortable. We look forward to a return trip.
