The exterior is impressive - it doesn;t look like a hotel, and the columns and facade are really cool looking. When you walk in, the place is just amazing - makes you feel special (especially if you like luxury). Doesn;t feel like a hotel - dark carpets, the sunken lobby, sofas & chairs make for a great evening experience (and even daytime ...

I did not like the lobby bathroom welcoming you to an "out_house" experience.....the Royalton need to find some good cleaners..our bathtub was not clean...the entire room was less that desirable, I never stayed in a Red Roof Inn but that night I would have preferred one. The carpet was dirty,---but the sheets were clean and nice thread ...

I was staying in this hotel for a short three night trip.In my opinion this hotel ticked every box. From the second I walked in the door to the moment I left, I found the staff extremely attentive. The hotel had a great atmosphere which was very calm but still great for socializing. The room was very nice with a superb modern design and a great ...
What didnt I like????..from the minute you walk in you feel like an A-lister who is in the hippest hotel around! The Decor and liveliness is amazing!! Great pic if you wanna be Hip!!! ~Nicole~
The Royalton hotel is located quite near times square so it's an excellent location. The place is pretty swank with a great bar in the lobby - a perfect spot to meet up with friends. While the room was fine, it was super small with only a double size bed. It was also quite dark and the desk was so mini that it made it difficult to work.

I stayed here for business last month and really enjoyed my stay. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and accomodating, and my room was nice and very clean. The hotel bar/lounge was a great place to grab a drink and always seemed to be a happening spot.
Very close to Times Square and other major NYC attractions, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great location in the theather district, a block away from Times Square.
Popular bar, definitely a hip place to hang out.
I stayed in this hotel 3 times. On one occasion I ended up staying in a room that was only big enough for a bed :-)

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
Loved it. The room was ultra modern and comfy for the space. The king size bed as soft as a feather and plush! The seating by the window could have accomodated another person to boot! The bathroom was great! Mirror, mirror on the walls ..everywhere! I love it! A hotel with inspirational designs to take home. Great walking distance to Times Square and all its flavor.
I stayed at the Royalton during halloween, 2004. From the moment you walk in the door you know you are in for a treat. The service was very nice and our room, a loft suite was very large by New York standards. We had a view of the street below on the fron of the building. The Beds we almost to comfortable. Huge King size bed with white sheets ...
