This resort embodied the San Diego way of life, no hassel, layed back, and beachside. The staff was great (thanks Chad). The room was nice, not overdone. We spent our Christmas there, and I am happy we did. The fire rings on the beach were exactly what we needed to complete our vacation.

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/06/08
We attended a wedding there. The property was dirty and the food was horrible! I mean horrible! By far the worst meal I've ever had at a wedding. Soggy lettuce in the salad, overcooked filet and undercooked shrimp.
We reserved a room to stay and were completely unimpressed by the room as well. It was old, dirty and poorly decorated. ...
Stayed for 2 days. Really enjoyed the spa services... had the best facial and massage. $20 for parking was a bit much.

Great family place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/08
My husband and I booked this room through name your own price on Priceline at $100/night. We had our own beach access and a view of the fireworks at Seaworld at night. For a family with small children (mine are 8 and 5), this place can't be beat. I have read some of the other reviews and I guess if you are super picky, maybe this isn't ...
I was there in April 2007. Pros: Great location, grounds are beautiful. Heated pools. Cons: $20 per parking spot. Extra $ for internet. The room we stayed in was not an a great condition. The bathroom could have used some work.

Far from a good stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/08
Check-in was great, staff was friendly. First night was wonderful. Pools close at 10pm Erica, at Front Desk opened the pool by our room for an extra hour, we were very impressed!
I then tried to access the internet in my room, after three username and password failures received from the front desk, I gave up for the night.
The room next ...

We stayed at Paradise Point Resort and Spa for three nights. When we arrived we where impressed by how beautiful the grounds where. We arrived before the posted check-in time and where fortunate enough to have a room available. There is a $20. per night parking fee. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful, we where greeted by everyone! The ...

This is a piece of sh..

Sh.., sh.., sh..
NEVER stay there.
Dirty rooms, very old property with all kinds of problems - pond water overflowing outside your room, HORRIBLE food, tacky decor, etc. etc.
The only thing good about it is the location.

Okay but . . .
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/07
We had a beachfront property with a view of the Bay and that was great . . . the room was spacious, but on our second night we realized that there was a mouse (mice?) in the kitchen area as we could hear them at night and then saw dropping in the morning.
Other than that, the stay was great and the food at the Barefoot Bar and Grill was ...

Very Relaxing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/07
We were able to kick back and enjoy ourselves, do activities or just veg-out. The staff was helpful, rooms were clean and grounds were relaxing. We're planning our next trip there now...
