Location location location. And great service. The views from the rooms are amazing. The fact that you can walk to just about any kind of activity/nightlife/store/etc within 15 mins max is great.
The outside architecture is also splendid. Come enjoy!
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Everything was fine except they do not use fabric softener in the towels and they were a little rough. Also the noice level was pretty high during the late night from emergency vehicles, but I did not hear any street noise. The staff was friendly and polite. The bed was very comfortable and clean and the room was clean.
Hooray to conceige Adelia Cott at the Marriott San Fancisco. Very professional and knowledgeable about hotel and attrations in the area. She arranged several surprises for us.
We were there for a package deal that included tickets to the titanic exhibit that was only in San Francisco for a short time. Very pleased with the service and the hotel itself. Oh and the BEDS ARE FANTASIC! So soft that I didn't want to get out of bed. We also were on the 29th floor and the view was awesome. Ask for room 2940. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very elegant, the room was swank, but I would have liked a choice of pillow (we use neck pillows and the only ones that were in the room were feather ones). The bed also was feathers and one stuck me in a tender spot when I sat on the edge of the bed.
The room was one of the handicap rooms and the shower was a roll-in which was ...

Not so clean room/ so-so service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/06
I came to the Hotel on April 17 2006 for a week-long Conference at Moscone Center. After been given a room on 17th Floor, I found there were hairs left on the pillow and bed sheets. I requested Hotel staff to clean it up, but got a re-assigned room on 4th floor, which has no view but face a wall like old buildings just across the alley.
