I believe this hotel has been taken over by different owners and is not representative of a typical Days Inn. It was dirty. The non smoking room smelled like smoke. The whole place was just gross and it'd be smart to avoid it.

I was born and raised in Portsmouth. This Days Inn is less than a mile from my parents. The location is superb for me when I come to visit. Other family members often stay there when visiting the city.

The staff was rude. The room was filthy. The bathtub had not been cleaned, there was hair and some nasty brown stuff on the shower curtain. The toilet stopped up. The light bulb was burnt out. The pillows were lumpy and had holes in them. The blanket had been burned. This was a disgusting place to stay. If this was representative of Day's Inn I'll never stay there again.
