The hotel is not modern, but has an excellent Oceanfront view and good location. The staff at front desk was ok, housekeeping needed improving. The worst was the Lighthouse bar area. The waitress on the sunday we stayed 10/4 gave the apperance of being unsanitary, she was petting a dog then went to deliver our food. I could not tell if she washed her hands and I ate around the inside of the plate. I will not be eating there again.

i stayed in room 804 the room smelled bad the paint was peeling off the wall tha molding on the bathroom floor was off there was cracks on the wall in the bathroom i had 2 hold the handle down on the toliet 4 it 2 flush then i had 2 jiggle the handle 4 it 2 stop running i had 2 go 2 the service desk several times because my key card stop working several times and 2 top all of that i was awoken by a bug crawling on my arm in the bed just nasty

The hotel was gross, the room want clean and smelled like mold. Staff was nasty or didnt speak english. Manager said he could care less if we stayed again. Bath room has cracks in celing and the tiles were broken around tub. Found garbage and items from previous guest.

This is an older hotel, but for the price it is clean and has a beautiful view. I have noticed the higher up you stay the nicer the rooms are, also the beds are a little to firm for my taste. But all in all, it is a nice hotel with friendly staff. We will stay again.

This is a very good hotel to stay at if your in Va beach. It's a budget friendly hotel that's clean but has all of the amenties. The indoor pool was fairly big. The fitness room is getting new gym equipment for the beach season of 09. Now they are 100 percent smoke free. No more smoking ooms which was another nice thing they have to offer. ...
