Beachy PlaceMy husband and I stayed for a week in November and enjoyed the location of the condo. We could see the ocean and sound from both the back and front balconnies/porch. Overpriced and DecrepitWe were in Atlantic Beach the WE of 9/21/07. Several hotels were booked and we stopped at the Whaler Inn and was advised there was one room for 169.00 which ended up being l89.28 with tax. The room was old and decrepit. Had it not been so late in the evening we would have left. How unfair they can get away with charging so much for such an inadequate room.4 of 5 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

Wonderful beach getawayThe Whaler Inn has been a wonderful experience each and every time I've stayed there over the past 6 yrs. Everyone is courteous and nice.....I recommend it to anyone looking for a positive beach experience. (the sunsets are to die for.) Bring your own coffee and enjoy!2 of 2 Yahoo! best valueI loved the place I was referred to by a friend and became an owner before I stepped into the the place. Never saw the rooms or nothing and instantly became an owner over the phone. The Whaler Inn is great!!!!I really loved this place. I took my family and two of my sons friends for his 16th birthday. My son said it was the best time he has ever had the beach. There are so many good things I can say about this place. First of all the people at the front desk are very helpful and very nice. We stayed in the one bedroom condo. Home away from Home!I love this place!!! No matter what is going on during the week, when I go there it all goes away! This place is very nice, prices are very good and it is family oriented! Don't stay here!We booked 2 nights here based on the good reviews we read here. I don't know where these other people stayed, but this place is not worth it. It's old and run down. Great VacationOur family have been owners since 1982.
It is amazing, family friendly, lots of fun
activities. We look forward every year to our trip. Being right on the ocean and just feet to our unit to eat in our own kitchen,
