The room was clean, the staff extremely helpful. The owner was in town on Sunday and they had a barbque with hamburgers,hotdogs, and salads for all of the guests.

We stayed for a week last December. Was quiet, and convenient to town. we were visiting family and was close to their home. Would stay again.

We like to travel for 6 weeks during the winter and we were please to find the Sands. Yes, the beds could be better and they plan to have better ones in 08. It was great having a bedroom and a full kitchen. The Staff was very helpful and are trying very hard to make it a nice place. We stayed for 3 days and went back 2 weeks later for another week. It is also great to be able to walk to the stores and restauants.
