Our mountain air retreatWe make it up the lodge at least once a year. Peaople are friendly, the smell of pines is wonderful, and the pool is a great way to beat the valley heat. At sunset we'll sit on the deck next the pool and watch the woods and fields for an occasional glimpse of deer or other wildlife. Can't wait to get back there.2 of 3 Yahoo! Good Basecamp in PioneerThe Pioneer Resorts Lodge was a good place to stay for a night or two while visiting the lower highway 88 area. The service was very good, both when making a reservation over the phone and during our stay. The room was OK, with the furnishings from the early 80s or so, but generally clean.
