Building smelled. Matteress was covered with plastic. Compare the restrooms to that of a public restroom. Stayed for one hour, and then left and found another hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent -- one block off the embarcadero. Our room had the bay view as advertised. It was quaint (and dated) but I wouldn't stay here again since the manager (or owner) was rude. We had a king-size bed with two VERY flat pillows so I went to the manager's desk to ask for two more pillows. He told me they were ...

the heated spa was cold. breakfest was not that great. cheap cups for coffee and juice. i wouldn't stay here again. the hotel was okay. the room was okay.

Stayed here many times and just love it. The price for an oceanview, balcony, fridge/micro and free breakfast can't be beat. It close to waterfront, restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend it. We have stayed here many times before and its the best.
