Stay somewhere else! The rooms were passable but the service has been horrible. I was charged for 3 nights when I only stayed 1 night. I have supposedly talked to the manager several times and she insists that she will take care of the bill and make the corrections but it never happens. I have had to turn it over to my credit card company to get it straightend out. What an ordeal!

This was our last night after a 10 day roadtrip from Houston to the Grand Canyon! The room was comfortable and the food was great! The Texas theme just added to the trip and gave us something fun & new to talk about during our last long day drive home! Yes, I would recommend it as a sleep over motel.

My wife, daughter (4) and I stayed here for one night on the way to San Antonio and absolutely loved it. The rooms were appropriately themed and the look of the hotel was fantastic. The location wasnt the best but downtown Amarillow was just a few minutes away. The food at the Steakhouse was outstanding. Good for a nights stay. Will go again.

This will be our 4th visit to the Big Texan Holel & Rest. We stop here for a rest driving and hauling 2 horses from Basile, La. to Pueblo, Co. for NLBFR held in July. We love the atmosphere, the food, the cleanliness, the pool and 1 last good night's rest before sleeping in the living quarters of our horse trailer for over a week. We love it!
