People I work with travel from all states, AZ, PA, DC, VA, etc. mostly government contractors and Department of Labor. Excellent comments from all of them...best value for excellent accommodations and service. The conference rooms and service are top notch as well.
I have stayed at this hotel many, many times through the years as I have family in the area. I have never had any issues. The rooms are clean, the service is great and the hotel is beautiful. Last visit was Thanksgiving 2008. We have stayed at every hotel in this area and as far as we are concerned this one ranks the highest!
The room, pool, and sauna were clean and high quality. We ate in their restaurant and were very impressed with the cleanliness and homemade taste of their lunch buffet. For only $6.99 each, we were rewarded with a meal fit for a king. We were amazed that people around there would be dinning at fast food places with such a fine restaurant close by. ...

**BEWARE--STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE**
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/10/07
I HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL TWICE AND BOTH TIMES WERE MISERABLE!!! I STAYED THE WEEKEND BEFORE THANKSGIVING. THE CENTER OF THE HOTEL IS A LARGE ATRIUM, AND THE ROOMS SURROUND IT AND LOOK DOWN ONTO THE ATRIUM. THERE WAS A WEDDING AND A FIGHT WITH SCREAMING WENT ON FOR OVER 4 HOURS UNTIL AT 2:30 AM THE POLICE WERE CALLED AND THEN I WAS ABLE TO ...
The pool is nice. The inside is the best. There are so many games for the children, and the adults. The pool is big. Indoor and Outdoor!

THE only place to stay!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/06
Ramada is the only place I will ever stay when in town visiting family and friends. The staff is top notch...the rooms are very clean. You can tell that everyone takes pride in their job. The restaurant is another story. All I am going to say is that I'm glad that it's not the only place in town to eat. I saw some new faces when I was there last. Maybe that explains the poor service. Hopefully it will improve.

Would love to come back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/06
We were in Paintsville, Ky for the first time and I hope not the last. We had the pleasure of staying at Ramada and it was a wonderful experience. All Ramadas should be like this one. It's a shame they are not.
The staff is very well trained, the rooms are super clean as is the entire building. The beds could be a little more comfortable, I ...

Wonderful Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/21/06
From the minute you walk through the front doors you feel welcome. You are greeted with a smile by the desk clerks. Everyone is so willing to help and answer any questions you may have. To be an older building it is amazingly clean and well maintained.
The only complaint that we do have was the service in the restaurant. Food was good tho.
Thumbs up to Sharlene and her staff. Keep up the good work!!!

We love this hotel and this is the only place we will stay when we visit Paintsville and our relatives. We have had several family reunions here too. Great people!!!!
