Wonderful service, facilities, view! We had a room overlooking the street, it was a little noisy. Next time, and there will be a next time, we will get a room toward the back.

Stayed at the Murray on August 29, 30, 2007. Cozy hotel. Charming victorian detail. Room had two queen size beds, very comfortable. Room is on the small side. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. They play the movie "Somewhere in Time" every night at 9:30 pm.
Had a wonderful spa pool with a waterfall. Staff very friendly. Best fudge on the island. I would definitely go back and stay there.

Loved it - bathrooms needed maintenance - other than that PERFECT!!! The staff is overly polite & go out of their way to help.

My husband & I stayed at the Murray Hotel for 3 nights and it was wonderful! The price was great, hotel was very charming & cute and the location was outstanding! Great fudge too! Would highly recommend this fine hotel!

Right in downtown across from Arnold docks. Warm chocolate chip cookies every evening. nice breakfast in morning. helpful staff.muffins an added touch as you check out. Best fudge in town and the least expensive. hot tub huge and kids liked it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Murray on June 1-3, 2007.

We arrived on Friday afternoon at 1:30 and were immediately given our room keys and had a very spacious 2 queen bed room. Clean and decorated nicely.

The staff was always very informative and ready to help. The breakfast buffet was excellent to start the days.

As noted in other reviews, the walls are terribly sound proofed. It was EXTREMELY hard to sleep at night as the people in the room on the other side of our wall were apparently newlyweds, and made the most of it at every possible opportunity over the course of the two nights we were there, if you take my meaning.

Great place to bring the family, great downtown location, very good rates, very friendly staff. I'm not sure why one review would say the Murray is not kid friendly, when they have many girl scout groups and school groups stay with them and encourage the whole family to stay with them. They even give freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every night in the rooms and fresh muffins when you leave. Very nice touch!
