THE PERFECT HONEYMOON FOR ROMANTICS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/07
MY HUSBAND AND I WENT THERE IN NOVEMBER OF THIS YEAR FOR OUR HONEYMOON. THE ROOMS WERE PERFECT. THE BED WAS FROM ANOTHER CENTURY AND SO COMFORTABLE. IT WAS SO QUIET AND SECLUDED THAT WE FELT AS IF IT WAS ONLY THE TWO OF US FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND. WE ARE GOING BACK IN APRIL FOR MY HUSBANDS BIRTHDAY. I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE. ...

Beautiful !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/06
The grounds are like walking in the park but better. The view for the Balloon race was exceptional, didn't have to leave the grounds. Stayed in the main house and the rooms are what I expect for a B&B. The breakfast was a true southern breakfast, delicious. I look foward to going back. If you want a quiet and relaxing weekend this is it.
My wife and I spent a day (planned on at least two) at the Briar's Inn just last week (March 2006) and found it in need of repairs. The location is wonderful and with the needed work will be a nice place to visit. No wireless as of yet. It was sold three months ago to a new investor.

I love it !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/05
I love the way that the people are so kind and nice to everything. The scenery was so beautiful and relaxing. If you just needed to get away for a couple of days then this would be the place to go. All of the unique train rooms, pools, ponds, boardwalks, and also the restaurants are amazing not to mention the rooms. Its also very family oriented. I love it and would go back no matter what the cost.

A quiet retreat
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/05
My husband and I went for our honeymoon for the first weekend of the fall pilgrimage. We arrived close to midnight and had a little trouble finding the place, but the hotel was very accomodating by leaving the key for us in the mailbox. We stayed in a suite away from the main house which was gigantic with a big screened-in porch. The decor was a ...

Our Get-Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/07/04
My wife and I have been married for three years and we have come to The Briars every anniversary. We love everything about being there. It makes us feel relaxed and at peace. With the sun rays squeezing through the big oak trees and the breeze softly brushing our faces, it's like heaven on earth. It truely is a wonderful place to just get-away.
