GONE DOWN HILLWe have stayed at this motel off and on for the last 12 years. This was by far the worst stay we have had. The room was not clean and the bathroom was terrible. The toilet was not secured to the floor, the door was water damaged, and the shower curtain was so close to the bather that it clinged to your skin. Great locationWe loved our stay, the location of the motel nar the beach was the best. The rooms were more of a late 80's mix of furniture but they were very clean. They do need an elevator, but the manager told us the town has an ordinace prohibiting elevators in the town. Well worth the money.3 of 3 Yahoo! LOVED IT!!!We had a great time at the fenwick islander. The rooms were very clean and neat. We had a great time at the beach just across the street. We love the rooms and the staff, we try and come twice a year. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Dirty.Unfortunately, the place was filthy. Gray marks on and in the toilet (even though the "sanitized" tape was intact - it looked like someone had been standing on the toilet with their shoes on), mildew in the tub, a woman in a room close-by complaining of bed bugs. Awsome Stay!We stayed at this motel instead of Ocean City and I was so glad. Everything was just great! The ladys at the desk were the best and the manager was a nice guy too. Its definately a mom and pop type place. The room was very clean and we had a great view and was cleaned by the same two girls everyday, were going back again.

Will NEVER go backTried to give this place a second chance. Been once before 2 yrs ago and the room next to us the bathroom leaked into ours, mildewy smelling,bad cleaning jobs. This year, slept in the same sheets for 3 nights( I marked them to know for sure) and had to tell the office about it.
